Cancellation and Refund Policy Sahkari Educational and Charitable Trust believes in transparency and responsible handling of donations. We deeply appreciate every contribution made towards our charitable and community welfare activities. As donations are generally used for charitable purposes and programme activities, we follow the cancellation and refund policy below. Donation Cancellation Donation cancellation requests will be considered only if the request is made immediately after the donation has been made and before the donation has been processed or allocated towards a charitable programme. Once a donation has been processed, transferred, or committed towards a specific charitable activity or programme, the cancellation request may not be accepted. To request cancellation of a donation, the donor should contact Sahkari Educational and Charitable Trust as soon as possible and provide the relevant donation details, including the donor's name, donation amount, date of donation, and transaction reference number. Refunds Refunds will be considered only in cases where a donation has been made due to a genuine error, such as an accidental duplicate transaction, incorrect transaction amount, or unauthorised transaction. Requests for refunds should be submitted within 7 days from the date of the transaction. The Trust may request supporting information or documents to verify the refund request before processing it. Refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the donation, wherever possible. Once a refund has been approved, it may take approximately 6–8 working days for the amount to be credited to the donor's account, depending on the payment gateway, bank, or financial institution. Donations that have already been utilised, allocated, or committed towards a charitable project or activity may not be eligible for a refund. Unauthorised Transactions If you believe that a donation has been made using your payment method without your authorisation, please contact Sahkari Educational and Charitable Trust immediately with the transaction details. We will review the matter and take appropriate action in coordination with the relevant payment gateway or financial institution. Tax and Donation Receipts Where applicable, donation receipts will be issued based on the information provided by the donor. Donors are responsible for providing accurate name, address, email, PAN, and other information required for issuing donation receipts or complying with applicable laws and regulations. Changes to the Policy Sahkari Educational and Charitable Trust reserves the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.
